DEBRA HOUSE

Serves non-psychiatric, primarily non-addicted homeless women and women with up to three children under 10 years of age, who come from living on the streets or from emergency shelters. Residents are provided with furnished living space and have access to share common areas including kitchen, bath, laundry and lounge. Twenty-four hour-a-day on-site participant/family monitoring and security is provided, in addition to all of the other services available to all other residential program participants. Since 1989, more than 537 adults and 640 children have received safe shelter, job training and life skills training through this program alone.  Program capacity is 4 single women and 8 women with children.
